Is the Covid-19 Vaccine Safe For Me To Take? All You Need To Know About It!

The coronavirus pandemic succeeded in shutting down the world’s systems for a while. There was a frantic search for a vaccine that would help the world resume its activities.

Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen and AstraZeneca came to the rescue.

Well, these are just four of the 170 COVID-19 vaccines in trial. These vaccines fall into four categories – WHOLE VIRUS, PROTEIN SUBUNIT, VIRAL VECTOR and NUCLEIC ACID (RNA AND DNA).

The million-naira question is this – ‘is the COVID-19 vaccine safe for my family and me to take? It is important to note that these vaccines share a common goal- to grow your body’s immunity against the COVID-19 virus.

YES, COVID-19 VACCINES ARE SAFE TO USE.

But…

There are a lot of fake news flying around so you have to be extra-careful about what you take into your subconscious.

Also, if you have existing health conditions or allergies, it is important that you speak to your doctor. If you are allergic to any of the components of the vaccine or you are currently battling the virus, you should AVOID the vaccine.

In addition, on the day before you take the vaccine, make sure that you are adequately hydrated and properly rested.

After you take the vaccine, remember that you should still wear your nose-masks and maintain social distancing and handwashing protocols.

In all, remain positive about life!
